Well, this one was pined
over by NES collectors everywhere for a long, long, LONG
time. This is the very famous 1990 Nintendo World
Championship ROM. There were exactly 115 copies of this
game released to the general public - 90 grey and 26
gold. While most counts place the number of gold carts
at 25, there were the 26 awarded in the Nintendo Power
contest, 25 of them being for the second place prize and the 26th being
awarded to the grand prize winner along with a trip to Nintendo
Headquarters in Washington. The grey carts were given out to the finalists
in the contest.

For being the absolute
holy grail of NES collecting, this game is, well,
rather bland. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see
it dumped, but for all the fuss, all the whining, all
the hype - it's still just Super Mario Brothers, Rad
Racer and Tetris. Yes, there are many unique things
to this game that make it interesting - the NWC
screens, 99 lives in Mario, Unlimited Time in Rad
Racer, etc. It's still a good thing to see this game
finally dumped, but it's not the holy grail that
everyone was imagining. |

Yes, this is the one. Not a
hack, not a fake, a REAL dump. Kudos to Guido, whoever he
is, for finally getting the "WE WILL NEVER DUMP THIS
GAME!!!" game dumped. Considering that most of the carts of this game
have passed through the anti-dumping hands of three specific individuals,
it's rather surprising to have this dump to offer you, but here it
is. Enjoy!
