Another Disney/Capcom
prototype. Sigh. I never much liked DuckTales - quite
possibly due to one of my childhood friends bashing me
over the head with a NES Advantage for "beating his game
before he did." Ah well, I suppose the game is still fun
for most people, but I just can't look at it without
severe headaches and my ears ringing.
Just like Darkwing Duck, this game
is essentially the same game that was released in the
stores with a great deal of cosmetic changes made to it
before release. |
Once again, another NES
fan, Ballz, has written a much more in-depth review
of what differs in this version of Ducktales from the
release version that we all played back in the
day. Now, in order to avoid re-inventing the wheel,
I'll just provide a link to Ballz's page.

This game is considered by
most to be one of the alltime classics on the NES, and
just based on the sheer number of people that say this,
I'll acknowlege the game as such. However, this will not
change my opinion of the game in the least - I still hate
it and probably will never play it again after taking the
emu screenshots. Oh well, at least it's out there for all
of you that are interested.
