Gideon Zhi Cart Dumped By: |

God. This game is horrible. Shitty play control, 1986-level graphics, and a full blown commercial sponsorship that just tended to turn a stomach. I dunno about you, but I never wanted Reebok Pump shoes. Overpriced and they looked freakin goofy, but then again, I played hockey, not basketball. I would have to think Dracula would have personally staked himself before sponsoring the Reebok pump, but anyway, here we are. This game is cheezy, bad, and ... fun. Yes, fun. I don't know why, but I hated this for the first little while I played it, but it grew on me... I guess it's one of those odd things where something can be so bad that it's good, although it is pretty obvious why the game never came to market. Not to mention this game is DIFFICULT! I mean, not in the challenging way either, but the programmer-who-drinks-too-much way. I don't know why I like this game, it may just be the simple fact that it never came to market, and simple flaws like gameplay, graphics, and control are forgiveable. The dump of this game kind of came out of nowhere. At some point, Gideon Zhi aquired the cartrige, and quietly had it dumped. Sardius one day posts Believe... and the rest of us belittle him for acting like Zophar & the gang with their lame ploy to bring "Bloodlust" back, only without emus and without Sardu... Anyway, Sardius actually LIVED UP to his Believe, by releasing this "gem" of a game to the public the next day. It really isn't too bad. It has a surprising number of people getting their blood sucked out for an NES game. And I'm afraid I've gotten more than a little addicted to this game, so if it interests you, I've written a few info pages about the game. |
