As embarrasing as this is to
admit, I used to watch this cartoon between classes out at
college. There's just something funny about a loser
superhero who screws up 95% of the time and then comes out
ahead in the end. Probably why I like Mystery Men, but
whatever. This is a pre-release version of the NES
Darkwing Duck game. Surprisingly, for a NES prototype,
there are an amazing amount of differences between this
version and the final release version of this game. While
most of these changes are simply cosmetic in nature, they
do provide a unique and interesting version of this
platformer. |
This game was released
by TheRedEye a
while ago through some negotiations and trades by
Ballz. At the time he released the game, TheRedEye
created an extrordinary page diving into every little
detail of the differenced between this version of the
game and the commercial release. I would recreate it
here, but I'm not that insane, so I'll just provide
you with a link to his page.

Gah, I don't know why, but I
used to be a whole lot better at this game. Anyway, it's
more or less the same game that was released in stores
with some cosmetic changes. Take a read through
TheRedEye's page to get a full outline of the differences,
or give it a download and try to find them yourself...
