Bugs Bunny 2

Prototype ROM
Released Commercially as Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout
Owner and dumper unknown.

I remember this ROM being a big deal when it was first released, butI'll be damned if i remember who released it, why, and why it was such a big deal. Oh well, i guess I'll just wing it as usual.

It really needs to be noted that this ROM is either a bad dump, or a very very early prototype of this game. However, the general consensus around the net is that this is a bad dump. Damn. I wish someone would come forward with more information about this dump, so perhaps it could be confirmed bad or redumped.
Anyway, upon first running the ROM, you are presented with a blank red screen. Take the ROM out of the emu and blow on it. That should help.

Just kidding. This ROM cannot just be loaded and played. When resetting the emu or initially loading the ROM, hold the SELECT button to get to the Whack-a-Mole game, or hold START to get to the stage select screen.
Now, this sounds like a lot of options, however, it really isn't as much as you would think. The Whack-a-Mole game is completely non-functional, and the picture above is all that the ROM will load. As far as the game itself is concerned, the only stage that I have found that works is Stage 2 Round 1. Selecting anything else simply causes the ROM to crash. It is unclear whether this is a bad dump of the ROM, or if this is the condition of the prototype itself.

While it is very possible this ROM is a bad dump, the ammount of completion on the existing levels indicates a very early prototype. Non-working Mole Game as well as no enemies on the one existing level probably means this is NOT a bad dump, however, until this can be confirmed with the owner of the prototype, it will remain debatable...
