It's really too bad that Sunsoft didn't maintain the quality
of their early games as time went on. Batman for the NES was one of the best Batman games
made for any system in my opinion. While the game was harder than hell, much like every
other NES Sunsoft game, the game has a certain simple fun factor that somehow didn't exist
in the followup games. My opinon on this is the same thing that they always tell programmers
while they're learning to code - k.i.s.s = KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID. (this obviously doesn't
apply to Micro$oft programmers) This is just a simple, straightforward game that doesn't
have the billion options and weapons the future versions had - just Batman, kicking ass.

| This particular version was dumped through a trade that
Skrybe arranged with DreamTR. This game is identical to the release version of the game
with one addition - there are lots of codes enabled in the game that were not included in
the final release! With these codes, this game could be one of two things - either an internal
test copy of the game for final game testing, or it could also be a magazine review cartrige
sent out so the reviewers could publish a review and strategy guide for the whole game. Either
way, that leaves us with a copy of Batman that us mere mortals can finally complete!

The codes for the game are done on Controller 2:
A - Skips a stage
B - Refills Health
DOWN - Pauses Game
LEFT+B - Activate Invincibility
RIGHT+B - turn off invincibility

Cheat codes, cheat codes, cheat codes! That's the only thing
that stands this version apart from its released counterpart. If you never could beat that
bastard Joker at the top of the bell tower, here's your chance!
