Greetings Starfighter...You
have been recruited by the Star League to defend the frontier against Xur
and the Ko-Dan Armada.
This is the intro to this
Prototype ROM which originally would have given you the chance to fight
in the same fight as the characters in the movie "The Last Starfighter."
This is at least the fourth game rumored to be a "Last Starfigher" game
created for a home console, including Star Raiders, Space Armada, and
Solaris for the 2600...
So far, the first ever home
version of this game released on a console that I have found out about
was The Last Starfighter for the NES, every other one has been converted
- such as this one becoming Star Raiders 2.

itself
is complete - save for the fact shields have not been implimented.
I have not completely decoded the options in the screen at this time due
to Jum52's control limitations, but it appears this game would have even
included the Death Blossom special weapon.
The Last Starfighter was an excellent movie...
it a shame with all the games that were going to become a port of that
movie that none ever came to frutation.... |

I really can't say a whole lot about
this ROM
personally.... the control issues in Jum52 make it completely unplayable
for me, but it's the first time I've ever seen this intro that was showcased
in the movie in any form. That in itself is a good enough reason
to give this game a try...
