This game was listed in one
of the later Atari catalogs and was given the following
description: Dr. Salk's "PEEK-A-BOO" - A revolutionary new
video activity developed by Atari in conjunction with
Dr. Lee Salk, a leading child psychologist, will soon be
available for children under 3 years of age. Based on the
familiar concepts of "Peek-a-Boo" and "Hide 'n'
Seek," very young children can learn and have fun on the
Atari 2600. Important concepts that build a child's
self-esteem, including direction, spatial orientation, and
memory, are the key objectives of this video
activity. CX26135 |

Very young children,
eh? Well, I guess that means I'm dumber than a three year
old, because I can't figure out what the hell to do with
this ROM. Either that, or (this is what I'm hoping for) this game isn't
complete. All I can seem to get this game to is power up, select a game,
and then watch the cat pop out of the boxes. If you figure out more, drop me an email and prove that a
three-year old is indeed smarter than me. |

Apparently, this game would
have used the Kids Controller, but like I said above, I
really can't get this game to do anything. Which is kind
of embarassing when you consider this game was intended
for three year olds... please let it be
incomplete... sigh...
