Ah, now here's a change of
pace. This game was intended for release for use with the
Atari Kid's Controller (also would be usable with the
Atari Keyboard Controllers and the Atari Video Touch Pad
which were functionally identical to the Kid's
Controller) This very simple game does one of two things -
you can either compose your own songs using the keypad or
play one of the pre-loaded songs already programmed into
the game. As either your song or the pre-loaded song
plays, Grover will dance around the screen. Why so
simple? This was obviously intended for the Childrens
Television Workshop series of games, which were aimed at
the younger audience than say, Solaris. |
A simple listen-through
gives this list for the songs in the game: A= Old McDonald Had A Farm

Well, this isn't the most complicated
game in the world, therefore there isn't a whole lot to say about
it. I have read that at one time, this game was going to be Big
Bird's Music Maker and Grover was going to star in Grover's Egg Catch,
but the characters were switched because it made more sense for Big
Bird to be catching the eggs, not Grover. In the end however, this
one remained unrleased from unknown reasons - most likely the Crash of
83, like most of the unreleased 2600 games on this page...
List of songs shamelessly stolen from Al Backiel's
FAQ on Digital Press's Website and updated with the
incredible help of the members of the AtariAge Message Boards.
