Dave's career on the Angels/A's mirrors Jack's in longevity. He was one of the finest left handed power hitters in the league.
No one hit the ball harder than Dave. He won 2 team MVP awards. He played 1st base and outfield most of the time. He was a
fine base runner with good speed in those days. A genuine nice guy and all-around team player, you seldom, if ever heard a
negative comment from him. He manages a team in another league now.
