Jack was a major component of the team from 1992-1998. He was always a tough out, maintaining a compact swing
resulting in a perennial high batting average. Never blessed with great speed or a great arm, his competitiveness
carried him at whatever position he played. He sometimes riled up his teammates when he felt that they were not
giving 100% efforts. He won 2 team MVP awards. A great guy to have on any ball club.
