Players Cards #2

Clockwise from top left
Al Harris was a pitcher for us in the early 90's.
He had a dry sense of humor that rubbed some
the wrong way (me included). As a player
he was amazing. Possessing no real skills
that you could pinpoint, he somehow got the
job done. Chris Loy was one of the stalwart players on the team
for a long time. As a pitcher he usually
gave the team a chance to win each time out.
As a hitter he was a clutch stick. He was
a gold glove type fielder at first and the
outfield. I always will have great respect
for Chris. He manages the Vikings now. Bob Nowasad was a long time Angel who holds 2 team records,
most strikouts in a season (34) and walks
in a season (31). He was a good pitcher who
had excellent control. He was also an good
fielder at third base. You all know Dave. Joe Yau was laid back guy who had talent but lacked
desire. He could look great on a tough play
and horrendous on an easy one. He had good
power and could hit the long ball but was
inconsistent at the plate.
